17th Annual Conference of the Estonian Economic Association
20-21.01.2022

The theme of the 2022 conference is “Sustainable Finance”
The focus of the conference is on sustainable finance and its future. We invite people to propose papers and presentations (including different formats of debate sessions etc) on how we can make sustainability considerations part of financial decision-making. It is important for the financial market participants to disclose to their clients the impact of sustainability on financial returns and the impact of their investment decision on sustainability. Discussing appropriate topics for which economic activities can be considered environmentally sustainable should create security for investors, protect private investors from greenwashing, help companies to become more climate-friendly and help shift investments where they are most needed.
